Privacy Policy

Effective July 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Unanimous Cannabis (“Unanimous,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a cannabis retailer licensed by the Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management (OCM), License No. MICRO-L24-000422, collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit this website, place an order for in-store pickup, sign up for our emails, or visit our store at 2835 Hennepin Ave S, Suite C, Minneapolis, MN 55408. By using this website, you agree to this Policy.

1. The short version

We collect only the information we need to verify that you are 21 or older, complete your purchase, comply with Minnesota cannabis law, and run our business. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell or share your cannabis purchase history for anyone else’s advertising. We keep what the law requires and protect it with reasonable safeguards.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an online order for in-store pickup, Minnesota rules require us to collect your name, address, phone number, email address, and date of birth. If you contact us or sign up for our “Weekly Drop” emails, we collect your email address and any information you choose to share.

Age and identity verification. Before you enter this website, you confirm that you are 21 or older; that confirmation is stored in your browser (local storage) on your device, not on our servers. In store, we visually verify a valid government-issued photo ID for every purchase. We do not retain copies or scans of your ID unless required by law.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we may automatically collect limited technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring pages, through cookies and similar technologies.

Information from third parties. Our online menu, ordering, and payment are handled by third-party providers (see Section 5), who may collect information directly from you to complete your order and payment.

3. How we use your information

  • verify that you are 21 or older and confirm your identity at pickup;
  • process, prepare, and fulfill your orders for in-store pickup;
  • comply with Minnesota cannabis laws, including recording sales in the state’s cannabis tracking system and meeting recordkeeping and reporting requirements;
  • communicate with you about orders, respond to your questions, and (if you opt in) send you our Weekly Drop emails;
  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and store; and
  • detect and prevent fraud, underage access, and other misuse.

Consistent with OCM rules, we collect only the information necessary to complete your transaction, use it only for the purposes described here and as required by law, and maintain a standard operating procedure for data security and privacy that applies to us and to any third party we use to offer online sales.

4. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your age confirmation, and understand how the site is used.

To measure how visitors find and use our website, we use Google Analytics through the Google Site Kit plugin. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects limited technical and usage information, such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, how you reached the site, and your approximate location based on that IP address. This information is shared with Google, which processes it as our service provider and gives us aggregated reports about site traffic. We use it to understand what is useful and to improve the site. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not combine it with your order information. You can review how Google handles this data in its privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Your browser’s age confirmation is stored locally on your device and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser data. You can also set your browser to refuse or delete cookies, though some parts of the site may not work as well. To opt out of Google Analytics on every website you visit, you can install Google’s opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, as there is no common standard for them.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business and follow the law:

  • Service providers who act on our behalf, such as our point-of-sale, online menu, and ordering platform (IndicaOnline / Sweede), our online payment provider (SweedePay, powered by Aeropay), our email provider (MailerLite), which processes the email addresses you submit for the Weekly Drop so we can send you those emails, our website analytics provider (Google, through Google Site Kit and Google Analytics), and website hosting. These providers may use your information only to perform services for us.
  • Regulators and as required by law, including reporting sales to Minnesota’s statewide cannabis tracking system, responding to lawful requests from the OCM or other authorities, and complying with subpoenas or court orders.
  • Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, sale, or transfer of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy and as required by Minnesota cannabis law and other applicable recordkeeping requirements (for example, transaction and tracking records). When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

7. How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, and we maintain data-security and privacy procedures that also apply to the third parties we use for online sales. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to respond appropriately if an issue occurs.

8. Your choices

  • Email: you can unsubscribe from our Weekly Drop emails at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us. Those emails are delivered through MailerLite, and we do not sell or share your email address. We will still send transactional messages about your orders.
  • Analytics: you can opt out of Google Analytics on every website by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Cookies and age confirmation: you can clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings.

9. Your Minnesota privacy rights

Depending on the volume of data a business handles, Minnesota’s Consumer Data Privacy Act may give residents rights over their personal data, including the rights to confirm whether their data is processed and access it, obtain a portable copy, correct inaccuracies, delete data, and opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or certain profiling. While a small retailer like us may not meet the law’s coverage thresholds, we respect these rights and will honor reasonable requests where we can.

To make a request, contact us using Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond as soon as reasonably possible, generally within 45 days. If we decline a request, you may ask us to reconsider.

10. Children and minors

This website and our products are intended only for adults 21 years of age and older. We do not knowingly market to, sell to, or collect personal information from anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party websites and services

Our site links to or embeds third-party services, including our online menu and payment platforms, an independent price tracker, mapping services, and information about neighboring businesses. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one, and we are not responsible for them. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and revise the “Effective” date above. Your continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
